Who are we looking for?

Geomiq is looking for a highly motivated and sales driven individual to come in and hit the ground running and really make an impact in this front of the funnel sales role. Primarily we are looking for someone with a hunger to hunt for leads and introduce prospects to our platform. Once you are up and running you will gain the opportunity to manage your own clients and progress into more senior sales roles within the team.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospecting: Find creative ways to develop new relationships with strategic enterprise customers.
  • Being Consultative: Take the time to analyse and understand your customers business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities and align Geomiq where mutually beneficial. 
  • Collaborating: Help your teammates learn and succeed as fast as you do.
  • Closing Deals: Manage a sales cycle which clearly addresses customer priorities, demonstrates Geomiq’s differentiators, and overcomes objections which leads to tons of happy Geomiq customers. 

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email

About the Role

As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible to growing accounts under management, accessing depth of wallet  first businesss whilst designing and driving a comprehensive demand generation strategy for your team of Account Executives & SDRs.

Targeting agreed segments or territories you will be a driving force behind Geomiq’s success.

We are growing fast and looking for a number of talented, and highly-motivated inidviduals to join our Sales team. There is a lot of scope for responsibility and the individual should be comfortable with taking ownership of [and managing] multiple demands required in a startup.

You must thrive working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and be motivated to execute our strategy to deliver on the Geomiq vision. Working with the CCO and Senior Leadership team to capitalise on a $100Bn untapped global market.

  • Provide leadership, thought partnership and tactical support to your sales unit

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a talented, and highly motivated individual to join our team to be the first point of contact for all incoming customer enquiries, and actioning Quotations on our platform so that we can deliver industry-leading customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

This role sits right in the middle of the entire business as an important connection between the buying customers and the suppliers. This will require you to be willing to technically upskilled to in aspects of engineering, to ensure engineering drawings and files are dealt with accurately, quotes processed effectively, maintaining to an amazing standard of customer success whilst also having a firm commercial grip on the financial aspect of this role.

The position of this role means you will be expected to be the first line of contact for both the buyers and suppliers. You will also work closely with all aspects of the business from Sales to Ops teams to ensure customer success is implemented throughout the business.
As you collect data and feedback on the product from customers and suppliers, you will present back to the relevant aspects of the business and help with data-driven processes.

Having a commercial mindset coupled with technical understanding, customer focus and ability to condense data/information into actionable plans for innovations.

Quotation engineer

This aspect of the role equates to 85% of the role

  • Ensuring 24hr turn around for the processing of quotes from initial customer request through to delivering the supplier quote back to the customer
  • Develop and execute our pricing strategies that align with improving key quoting metrics e.g. Margin, Transaction rate etc.
  • Analyse and resolve any early-stage technical drawing issues from customers
  • Develop a technical understanding of every stage from manufacturing process methods, materials, parts of technical drawings, industries of customers
  • Fostering and developing long-standing supplier relationships
  • Develop an understanding of current markets value and competitors

Data Processing and Analysis

This aspect of the role equates to 15% of the role

  • Ensuring the customer data and identity is kept confidential through editing, commenting on files received.
  • Ensuring details of enquiries are correct and suitable for processing
  • Contribute to the development of data analysis and metrics for the company and customers
  • Assist with the presentation of metrics and data throughout the company
  • Maintain a log of customer feedback and recurring issues to feedback to the relevant aspects of the company and product teams
  • Using data gathered to innovate and develop an industry competitive and data-driven smart quoting system

Requirements

Our ideal candidate would be able to hit that sweet spot between technical and commercial customer-facing role, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

We are looking for someone that is a true operator! The ability to operate efficiently at speed, adapting fast to changes, work through any problem whilst overseeing a small team is crucial.

There is a lot of scope for responsibility and the individual should be comfortable with taking ownership of [and managing] multiple demands required in a start-up.

  • Experience in a technical support/quoting/costing analysis facing role at a start-up, tech or marketplace
  • A love of problems solving and troubleshooting issues, with a rapid ability to learn new things.
  • Interest in Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Ability and desire to multitask between the different quoting, supplier management, technical support, feedback and documentation aspects of this role and take on the different responsibilities of each space to ensure customers receive a quote within 24 hrs

So far we have built a team with the leading minds in software, engineering and computer vision. We are seeking a Senior Front End Developer for our web engineering team to contribute to the development of software solutions for next-generation online manufacturing in line with Industry 4.0 (4IR).

Product

The product itself is an online platform that; analyses the design and manufacturability of a product, provides cost optimization recommendations, provides only the most competitive quotes and allows ordering of custom manufactured parts through an easy to use interface. Our main customers are Product Designers, Design Engineers and Purchasing Departments who often get recommended by peers through word of mouth.

Product Roadmap

We are currently undergoing exceptional growth and as a result, infrastructure and automation is a huge priority for the business. We have cutting edge products for our suppliers, our customers and internally that we are currently working on. From; UI/UX performance testing, Object Character Recognition, Computational Geometry Analysis, Machine Learning and predictive analytics, through to server scaling, TDD and CI/CD that is to be unrivalled. This means that we are working of fundamentally innovative and exciting solutions to enable exponential scale, committing quality code regularly.

Platform Roadmap

With multiple new products being started and released this year we are primed to take advantage of what we have learned to date. Performance of the users experience at the forefront, as we look to handle the scale. About the role:

Geomiq is looking for a Data Scientist to join our innovation and development team. The main focus for the role will be reading, capturing, manipulating and setting up testing with data from 3D model Geometry through to complex pricing and numerical models/principles.

The ideal candidate must be a hardcore problem solver, self starter, hacker an will enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The solutions this role will be able to bring to the market will directly impact the transformation of an entire industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Using advanced analytical skills, interpret and scritinise data, identify trends, and generate pricing models based on 3D Geometry. In addition to this, creating actionable recommendations to guide strategic decisions
  • Guide and enable product teams to measure things that matter; initiate or help run A/B experiments to keep improving everything we do
  • Design and development of internal analysis tools

At a minimum, we’d like you to have:

  • BSc/MSc degree in relevent field of data science
  • 4-6 years of real world data science experience
  • Python/R or similar analytics programming language
  • Solid business acumen to be able to identify and create key metrics that measure and drive decisions
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts: analyzing pricing and costing data, drawing conclusions and developing actionable recommendations
  • Proven problem solving skills and ability to influence others

About the Role

Geomiq is looking for a Senior business/Data analyst to join our Product, Development and Marketplace Analytics team on a full time basis. Our mission is to assist Geomiq growth initiatives with data driven insights. Our team is working on discovering information hidden in a range of data to make intelligent business decisions to improve Marketplace growth and operations. This individual will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly establish a rapport with all levels of internal staff. They are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, have exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to multitask.

What You’ll Do

  • Using advanced analytical skills, interpret and analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable recommendations to guide strategic decisions to management
  • Develop key performance metrics and dashboards that help the Marketplace team focus on performance drivers
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to define, develop, build and implement key performance metrics, reports, and dashboards to effectively manage, drive and support critical business priorities
  • Build an understanding of Geomiq data/systems and leverage tools (e.g. MySQL, dbt, PowerBI) to independently query data and run ad hoc analyses to drive insights and inform business strategy
  • Design and development of internal analysis tools
  • Evaluate existing templates/tools and enhance functionality/capabilities
  • General administrative duties ensuring process adherence by all departments

At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have

  • B.A./B.S. degree in technical or business fields or equivalent practical experience
  • 4-6 years of working experience and 3+ years in a business/data analytical role with proven record for delivery of data-driven insights to inform strategic decision making in a Marketplace business
  • Solid business acumen to be able to identify and create key metrics that measure and drive decisions
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts: analyzing data, drawing conclusions and developing actionable recommendations
  • Proven problem solving skills and ability to influence others
  • Be self-driven and show ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
  • MySQL skills querying relational databases
    • Proficiency in writing complex MySQL queries; you should feel comfortable using aggregate functions and all types of joins
  • Excel skills - comfortable with VLOOKUP functions, SUMIF formulas, Pivot tables and performing data models
  • Power BI or other Business Intelligence platform skills
  • The ability to work independently and deliver quality results
  • The ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment
  • The ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

     

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • Experience with Analytics Programming Languages (Python, R, etc.)
  • E-commerce/marketplace experience
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating across different departments and roles
