In this process, sheet metal parts are sprayed with powdered paint (which comes in a wide variety of colours to suit your aesthetic desires!) and then baked in an oven. Powder coating creates a strong and corrosion-resistant layer over each part that is far more durable than other finishing methods.
Bead blasting is the operation of propelling - typically with compressed air - a stream of abrasive material (blast media) against a surface to affect the surface finish. Bead blasting gives each Sheet Metal part a smooth, matte appearance.
Our Waterjet Cutting specifications
Our Waterjet Cutting service is ideal for fabrication of high-precision sheet metal components, or thicker metals between 18mm-40mm.
WHAT IS WATERJET CUTTING?
Waterjet Cutting uses an ultra-high pressure stream of water to cut materials using a mechanical sawing action, leaving a smooth, precision-cut surface. This is an extremely versatile process, because Waterjet Cutting is able to cut almost any type of material. Waterjet Cutting is used in various industries, including mining and aerospace, for cutting, shaping, and reaming. The main benefit of Waterjet Cutting is that it leaves no heat-affected areas and causes no mechanical stresses, which could distort the material resulting in accuracy up to 0.1mm.
