INSPECTION SERVICES
Geomiq inspects your parts to the degree that your projects require. Again, you can have it your way. Standard Inspection Standard Inspection With Dimensional Report CMM Inspection With Dimensional Report First Article Inspection Report (per AS9102) Visual Inspection Custom: Choose this option if your part requires custom inspection requirements such as, but not limited to, the following: non-destructive testing, serialization, custom sampling plan, or if you would like to provide your own inspection datasheet.
STANDARD INSPECTION
No additional cost Up to 20 dimensions selected by Geomiq or manufacturing partner to demonstrate compliance to drawing. All simple sheet metal parts, single surface. All simple CNC parts (defined as parts without precision tolerances tighter than +/-0.1mm or special features). No documentation will be provided
FORMAL INSPECTION AND DIMENSION REPORT
Lot size sampling as Geomiq Inspection Sampling Table (based on ISO 2859-1:1999, AQL 2.5%, with zero defects) 25 of the tightest tolerance dimensions to be inspected unless explicitly stated by the customer Max 25 dimensions inspected per part A customer-supplied dimensional print is required for this inspection Report shared with customer to demonstrate compliance Included in quoted price May increase lead time by 1-3 days
CMM INSPECTION AND DIMENSION REPORT
Lot size sampling as Geomiq Inspection Sampling Table (based on ISO 2859-1:1999, AQL 2.5%, with zero defects) A Formal Inspection with Dimensional Report will be included with any CMM report 15 of the tightest tolerance dimensions to be inspected unless explicitly stated by the customer Max 15 dimensions inspected per part A customer-supplied dimensional print is required for this inspection Reports shared with customer to demonstrate compliance May increase lead time by 1-3 days
CUSTOM INSPECTION
QC can accommodate custom inspection requirements such as, but not limited to, the following; Non-Destructive Testing, Serialization, Custom Sampling Plan, or if you would like to provide your own inspection datasheet. Manual quote required Customer determines all inspection features and sample size Customer drawing is required with ballooned/indicated dimensions for inspection
