  • WHO CAN SIGN UP?

    Designers, Engineers, purchasing departments and Manufacturers can sign up to Geomiq.

    If you are looking to get your parts manufactured, you can sign up here as a buyer.

  • HOW DO I SIGN UP?

    Signing up to Geomiq is simple, Use this sign-up form to register.

  • WHAT FEES DO YOU CHARGE?

    We don’t charge any fees for using Geomiq. Uploading your quotes is free of charge. We just add a small margin on each transaction between the supplier and buyer. 

    This way, suppliers get what they quote and buyers get what they see.

    We often get multiple quotes from suppliers to ensure your parts are competitively priced.

  • WHAT IS AN RFQ?

    An RFQ is a Request For Quote.

  • HOW DO I GET A QUOTE?

    To get a quote, simply upload your CAD file in one of the following accepted file formats: .STEP .STP .IGS .IGES .STL .DXF to the platform.

    Follow the steps on the screen to select your part requirements & Submit Quote.

  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY QUOTE?

    We have both Instant quoting and for more complex parts we quote within 24hrs. Depending on the complexity of the part we may ask for additional information. Quotes for complex Injection Moulding may take longer than 24Hrs.

  • HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

    If you’re having trouble logging into your account or would like to reset your password, go to https://app.geomiq.com/login to reset your password. If you’re having issues resetting your password contact support@geomiq.com

  • WHAT FILE TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT ?

    We currently accept the following CAD formats .STEP .STP .IGS .IGES .STL .DXF.

  • I'M HAVING TROUBLE UPLOADING MY CAD FILE?

    Have you checked that your file is in one of the supported formats? .STEP, .STP, .IGS, .IGES, STL, .DXF. 

  • CAN YOU CONVERT MY FILES?

    We unfortunately do not offer file conversions at this moment.

MANUFACTURING SERVICES

  • WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

  • DO YOU OFFER ASSEMBLIES?

    No. We do not offer assemblies at present.

  • WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU HAVE?

    We offer a wide selection of over 120+ materials across multiple service lines. Materials for CNC machining, Materials for Injection Moulding, Sheet Metal Materials, 3D Printing Materials

  • I CANNOT FIND THE MATERIAL I NEED.

    If your material is not listed on our configuration, you can write down the material you need in the notes section, we cannot guarantee the availability of the particular material. Our design engineers may suggest an equivalent alternative material that is available.

  • CAN YOU PROVIDE A DATA-SHEET FOR MATERIALS?

    Yes, Once you’ve submitted your RFQ you can request a data sheet for your required material by contacting support@geomiq.com , this must be done before an order is placed.

  • WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY?

    We do not have a minimum order quantity, we can supply anywhere from 1 – 50,000 parts, across our service lines. In some instances we have delivered higher volumes than this.

  • CAN YOU DESIGN A PART FOR ME?

    No. We do not offer design services at this moment, Geomiq focuses on manufacturing rather than design services. In order to manufacture your part we require a CAD file to quote on your part. This also means that we cannot manufacture parts from a picture or physical replica.

  • ARE YOUR SUPPLIERS ISO ACCREDITED?

    Some Geomiq Approved manufacturing partners have ISO accreditations.

PAYMENT AND ORDERS

  • HOW DO I PAY ?

    After you’ve received your quote and are happy to proceed, add your parts to cart and pay choosing your preferred payment method. We currently accept card payments, bank transfer and purchase orders.

  • CAN I GET A QUOTE RATHER THAN A PRO-FORMA?

    Yes, your quote will be displayed on the platform for your review. Once you are happy with your Quote you can generate a proforma.

  • HOW DO I GENERATE A PRO-FORMA?

    After you’ve received your quote, add the part you would like to order to cart. 

    On the right hand side you have 3 options to select from.

    1. Pay now

    2. Generate Proforma

    3. Transfer Cart

  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY PURCHASE ORDER (PO)?

    We aim to process purchase orders sameday, your order will have to undergo Contract Review which can however take a little longer. You will receive a digital notification once we have accepted your Order.

  • CAN I SET UP A CREDIT ACCOUNT ?

    Yes – Email support@geomiq.com and request a credit application form

  • CAN I TRACK MY DELIVERY?

    Once your order has been confirmed you can track the manufacturing process of your part on your buyers dashboard.

  • DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

    Yes – Please provide your company number and ensure that international shipping is clearly stated on the RFQ.
